These pot hooks are designed for cast iron and other pots with small holes in the handle. Strong yet small enough to pass through almost any handle hole. These wall hooks are also forged with a slight bend in the back. This stops the hook from swaying side to side and offers a second contact point with the wall. Every detail has been considered in the design and functionality of these hand forged hooks.

Description

Hand forged to order from 5/16″ thick solid reclaimed iron, these rustic pot hooks are a perfect addition to add some unique style to your home. Forged completely by hand, then sealed with linseed oil and beeswax, these hooks are made to last with the utmost quality in mind. Easy to install and durable. This piece has a subtle yet incredibly unique look that will add depth and character to your home.

Items are hand made using reclaimed material and traditional blacksmithing techniques, therefore no two are exactly the same. Small variations in dimensions and shape may be present in each piece. Items may vary from photos slightly. These variations only add to the unique beauty of each piece, and are a testament to their authenticity as hand forged items.

BRUSHED STEEL FINISH:

This is a brushed steel satin finish that goes well with both modern and rustic decor. It is not a high shine, factory gloss kind of look. Some forge scale will be present. While it does have a slight shine, it is not polished steel. It is however wonderfully unique, and offers a truly handmade feel that you can’t find with mass produced items. After wire brushing, I add a no VOC clear coat which provides a barrier to help prevent corrosion and bring out the natural beauty of the hand worked metal. (For outdoor use, message me BEFORE ordering to add a coat of spar urethane.)

OIL BLACKENED FINISH:

This satin black finish has touches of grey, and allows the texture and forge work in the steel to come through. Our black oxide process penetrates into the metal and provides one of the most durable finishes out there. Salt spray tested and holds for over 90 minutes. This finish also offers a much more complex and unique finish compared to paint, which will wear and chip over time and covers the hand forged look of the piece.
