The simplest piece in the kitchen, and maybe the hardest working. This cast iron pot hook hangs pots, pans and utensils from a rack, rail or shelf edge, so cookware lives out in the open where you can grab it instead of stacked in a cabinet.

The selling point is the small end. Plenty of cast iron pans have hanging holes too small for a standard hook — this one’s narrow tip is forged to slip through those small openings, so the heavy skillet with the tiny handle hole hangs just as easily as everything else. And it is strong: forged from 3/8″ stock, a single hook holds over 50 lbs without flexing.

Forged 5″ long with a 2″ projection. Hang one over the stove for the pan you reach for daily, or line up several along a rail. It also solves the small annoyances: utensils by the stove, a towel by the sink, anything with a handle or a loop that is better hung than drawer-bound.

Oil Blackened: Satin black with light touches of grey, this finish allows the texture and forge work to come through. Our black oxide process penetrates into the metal, actually changing the color of the iron itself. This results in a deep, rich satin black that adds depth and character to the piece.

Brushed Steel: This finish lies between a nickel/pewter hue with a satin sheen. It goes well with both modern and rustic decor. This is not a high shine, factory gloss kind of look. Some forge scale will be present which gives this finish a slightly antiqued / hand forged quality.

Brass Brushed: This finish is achieved by heating the piece and hand brushing using a solid brass bristle brush. The brass integrates with the steel creating a very durable and amazingly beautiful darkened brass/bronze coloration. The brush strokes are visible, contributing a visual texture to this timeless look.

Mounting instructions and matching hardware are provided with your purchase. Read more about decorative screw sizes and mounting here. Cabinet hardware includes screws for 3/4″ thick mounting surfaces. Wall mount items come with 1.5″ #8 wood screws. If you require different sizes please message us and we’ll adjust accordingly.
