Terms & Conditions
Items are hand made using traditional blacksmithing techniques, therefore no two are exactly the same. Small variations in dimensions and shape may be present in each piece. Items may vary from photos slightly. These variations only add to the unique beauty of each piece, and are a testament to their authenticity as hand forged items. All items are hand forged from solid iron. Custom material sizes available upon request.
Element Hardware is not responsible for damage to mounting surfaces for any reason.
Cabinet Hardware:
Mounting instructions and matching hardware are provided with your purchase. Cabinet hardware includes screws for ¾” thick mounting surfaces. Wall mount items come with 1.5” #8 wood screws. If you require different sizes please message us and we’ll adjust accordingly.
PRE DRILLED CABINETS: if you have pre drilled cabinets please message us BEFORE ordering. Exact C2C measurements require an additional fee.
Curtain Rods:
Element Hardware provides free quotes based solely on the following information: rod length, finish, and finial choice.
Determining factors such as total lengths, bracket/mounting locations, trim clearances, or installation layout are the responsibility of the client. Consultation on these factors is available at a rate of $125 per hour.
Element Hardware assumes no responsibility for incorrect measurements, mounting mismatches, or improper installations. All dimensions and installation details must be verified by the client prior to fabrication.
Rods exceeding 80″ in total length will be fabricated in two equal sections and joined at the midpoint. A center support bracket is required for structural stability, and an additional fee applies for this configuration. Maximum Rod Length is 170″

- Orders are shipped within 7-10 business days after they are placed.

- Ground Shipping – $5.00
- Priority Shipping – $9.75
- Local Pickup (at our shop) – FREE
- Free Shipping on all orders over $50.00
In-Store Availability & Pickup
In-Store Pickup
- Most items are available for in-store pickup at our shop.
- Orders for in-store pickup are typically ready within 3-5 business days. You will receive an email confirmation when your order is ready for pickup.

On Display In-Store
- Some products are on display in-store for customers to view before purchasing.
- If a different variant of a product is on display, it will be labeled as “Variant on Display In-Store.”
- In-store display availability does not guarantee stock for immediate purchase. Please check with our team or order online to ensure availability.
Returns & Refund Policy
Our return policy lasts 30 days from the date you receive your order. If 30 days have passed since delivery, please contact us. We’ll do everything we can to ensure your satisfaction.
Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return, your item must be:
- Unused and in the same condition as received
- In its original packaging
Non-returnable items include:
- Gift cards
- Custom-made or personalized items
- Perishable goods
How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, email us at nate@handforgedhomedecor.com. We will provide return instructions, including the return address. Please include your order number and reason for the return in your email.
Refunds
- Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you via email
- If approved, refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after approval and credited to your original payment method.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted unless the item is defective or incorrect.
Exchanges
- We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
- If you need an exchange for the same item, email us at nate@handforgedhomedecor.com with a description of the issue and, if possible, photos of the defect.
- If your exchange is approved, we will cover the shipping costs for the replacement item.
Shipping Returns
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, except in cases where the item is defective or incorrect.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.
Sale Items
Refunds for sale items will be issued at the sale price paid at checkout.
