Description

Rustic hardware with the hammer marks left in. Every pull and knob in this listing is forged from solid iron and hand-hammered, so the surface catches light the way only real forge work does. No two pieces are exactly alike.

This one listing covers both knobs and pulls:

– Knobs: 1″ or 1 1/4″, in Round or Square – Pulls: a range of lengths, in 1/4″, 3/8″ or 1/2″ stock depending on length; projection runs 1″ to 1 1/2″ depending on the length selected

All of it comes in Oil Blackened, Brushed Steel, or Brass Brushed, so knobs and pulls can match across a whole kitchen. Mounting screws are included for 3/4″ thick cabinet doors and drawers. If your cabinets are pre-drilled, read the note in the mounting section below before ordering — exact center-to-center measurements carry an additional fee.

Heirloom-Quality Finishes: Using only the highest-quality products, our finishes are both beautiful and durable, letting the craftsmanship of our handwork shine while standing up to high-traffic, moisture-prone areas like baths and appliance pulls. By combining zero-VOC undercoats with hardening wax, we create a richer, deeper finish than paint — one that can be reapplied at any time to restore its original luster. Unlike other coatings that chip or fade, this finish keeps surfaces looking their best. Tested hundreds of times over years, it’s proven to be the most durable and beautiful choice available.

Oil Blackened: Satin black with light touches of grey, this finish allows the texture and forge work to come through. Our black oxide process penetrates into the metal, actually changing the color of the iron itself. This results in a deep, rich satin black that adds depth and character to the piece.

Brushed Steel: This finish lies between a nickel/pewter hue with a satin sheen. It goes well with both modern and rustic decor. This is not a high shine, factory gloss kind of look. Some forge scale will be present which gives this finish a slightly antiqued / hand forged quality.

Brass Brushed: This finish is achieved by heating the piece and hand brushing using a solid brass bristle brush. The brass integrates with the steel creating a very durable and amazingly beautiful darkened brass/bronze coloration. The brush strokes are visible, contributing a visual texture to this timeless look.

Gorgeous, rustic, just as described. He worked with me to customize to my specifications. I needed 60 pulls and he got them to me quickly.

I have purchased more pulls than I can count from Element Metal and Woodcraft!

Great quality–consistently! I have used pulls from this company for a walnut kitchen, 3 baths (stained alder), and several pieces of walnut furniture.
We ended up moving and doing more reno…we purchased pulls from Element Metal and Woodcraft again for a white kitchen and walnut bar. I’m planning to purchase pulls for 3 more baths (walnut) and furniture (white and walnut). Providing these details about numbers and wood/color so you can see that their products work well with most anything!

I have had multiple contractors and visitors contact me for information about this company–so they can buy pulls.

Highly recommend this company and their products.

We ordered several pulls and companion knobs for a renovation project. They are more beautiful in person than pictured! There is nothing like the real thing when it comes to hand wrought iron. Large companies are imitating them but why not get the real ones! We didn’t need adjustments but that’s another advantage to work with real craftspeople. Whenever we need special home goods we look for handmade ones whenever possible. So pleased we found Nate!
