Forged from actual railroad spikes — the same dense steel that once carried freight — so each piece keeps the working character of the original: real weight, real toughness, and a forge texture you won’t find in cast hardware. Choose the style that fits the job: a sturdy Knob or a full-size Pull.

The Knob is a chunky 1 3/4″ head with 1 to 1 1/2″ of projection, a good grip for drawers, doors, and furniture. The Pull runs 5 1/2″ long with 3/4″ to 1″ of clearance underneath — room for a full hand even on a heavy drawer front.

Both come in Oil Blackened, Brushed Steel, or Brass Brushed (finish details below), so knobs and pulls can match across the whole room.

Heirloom-Quality Finishes: Using only the highest-quality products, our finishes are both beautiful and durable, letting the craftsmanship of our handwork shine while standing up to high-traffic, moisture-prone areas like baths and appliance pulls. By combining zero-VOC undercoats with hardening wax, we create a richer, deeper finish than paint — one that can be reapplied at any time to restore its original luster. Unlike other coatings that chip or fade, this finish keeps surfaces looking their best. Tested hundreds of times over years, it’s proven to be the most durable and beautiful choice available.

Oil Blackened: Satin black with light touches of grey, this finish allows the texture and forge work to come through. Our black oxide process penetrates into the metal, actually changing the color of the iron itself. This results in a deep, rich satin black that adds depth and character to the piece.

Brushed Steel: This finish lies between a nickel/pewter hue with a satin sheen. It goes well with both modern and rustic decor. This is not a high shine, factory gloss kind of look. Some forge scale will be present which gives this finish a slightly antiqued / hand forged quality.

Brass Brushed: This finish is achieved by heating the piece and hand brushing using a solid brass bristle brush. The brass integrates with the steel creating a very durable and amazingly beautiful darkened brass/bronze coloration. The brush strokes are visible, contributing a visual texture to this timeless look.

Mounting instructions and matching hardware are provided with your purchase. Cabinet hardware includes screws for 3/4″ thick mounting surfaces. Wall mount items come with 1.5″ #8 wood screws. If you require different sizes please message us and we’ll adjust accordingly.
