A fixed-design anniversary keychain for the sixth year — the iron anniversary. Hand-forged iron tags stamped with six tally marks, made up ahead of time and ready to give as-is.

Same forge work as our hand-stamped pieces, but a ready-to-go design: there is no inscription to supply and no personalization step. It’s made to be carried — a keychain gets handled every day, and forged iron shrugs that off. A sixth-anniversary gift that needs no explanation: the tally marks say the years.

Heirloom-Quality Finishes: Using only the highest-quality products, our finishes are both beautiful and durable, letting the craftsmanship of our handwork shine while standing up to high-traffic, moisture-prone areas like baths and appliance pulls. By combining zero-VOC undercoats with hardening wax, we create a richer, deeper finish than paint — one that can be reapplied at any time to restore its original luster. Unlike other coatings that chip or fade, this finish keeps surfaces looking their best. Tested hundreds of times over years, it’s proven to be the most durable and beautiful choice available.

Oil Blackened: Satin black with light touches of grey, this finish allows the texture and forge work to come through. Our black oxide process penetrates into the metal, actually changing the color of the iron itself. This results in a deep, rich satin black that adds depth and character to the piece.

Brushed Steel: This finish lies between a nickel/pewter hue with a satin sheen. It goes well with both modern and rustic decor. This is not a high shine, factory gloss kind of look. Some forge scale will be present which gives this finish a slightly antiqued / hand forged quality.

Brass Brushed: This finish is achieved by heating the piece and hand brushing using a solid brass bristle brush. The brass integrates with the steel creating a very durable and amazingly beautiful darkened brass/bronze coloration. The brush strokes are visible, contributing a visual texture to this timeless look.
