A towel bar forged from solid iron bar stock — 1/4″ thick by 1″ wide — with a 2.5″ projection off the wall so towels hang and dry properly instead of bunching against the tile. It comes in 12, 16, 18, and 26 inch lengths, so it works for anything from a powder-room hand towel to a full bath sheet.

Choose Hammered or Smooth, in Oil Blackened, Brushed Steel, or Brass Brushed (finish details below). The hammered texture shows the forge work; smooth keeps it spare and modern. All versions are finished to stand up to a bathroom’s daily moisture, and the bar pairs with our bath hooks if you want a matched set across the room.

Heirloom-Quality Finishes: Using only the highest-quality products, our finishes are both beautiful and durable, letting the craftsmanship of our handwork shine while standing up to high-traffic, moisture-prone areas like baths and appliance pulls. By combining zero-VOC undercoats with hardening wax, we create a richer, deeper finish than paint — one that can be reapplied at any time to restore its original luster. Unlike other coatings that chip or fade, this finish keeps surfaces looking their best. Tested hundreds of times over years, it’s proven to be the most durable and beautiful choice available.

Oil Blackened: Satin black with light touches of grey, this finish allows the texture and forge work to come through. Our black oxide process penetrates into the metal, actually changing the color of the iron itself. This results in a deep, rich satin black that adds depth and character to the piece.

Brushed Steel: This finish lies between a nickel/pewter hue with a satin sheen. It goes well with both modern and rustic decor. This is not a high shine, factory gloss kind of look. Some forge scale will be present which gives this finish a slightly antiqued / hand forged quality.

Brass Brushed: This finish is achieved by heating the piece and hand brushing using a solid brass bristle brush. The brass integrates with the steel creating a very durable and amazingly beautiful darkened brass/bronze coloration. The brush strokes are visible, contributing a visual texture to this timeless look.
